New patient pricing is the same in all three states ($95 with ZENNEW). Renewals are $45 in PA and OH and $50 in WV, because the regular WV renewal rate is higher — which is also why the WV renewal discount is bigger ($25 off versus $5 off).

Yes — Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio each have their own state registration process, and each has quirks that trip up first-time users. (In Ohio you can't register yourself — your provider creates your profile, and there's no state fee.) We assist with logins, password resets, address verification, state fee payment, and any error messages. Portal support is part of every certification, not a separate add-on.

No problem — your provider will try you again and may follow up by text. Please keep your ringer on during your selected window. Calls can show up as "Unknown," "No Caller ID," or "Spam Risk" depending on your carrier, so don't screen those out. If we can't reach you at all, our team will email you to reschedule at no charge.

All three states publish lists of qualifying conditions. Pennsylvania's includes chronic pain, anxiety disorders, PTSD, cancer, Crohn's disease, epilepsy, glaucoma, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's, sickle cell anemia, and opioid use disorder under specific criteria. West Virginia's includes severe chronic or intractable pain, terminal illness, cancer, HIV/AIDS, ALS, Crohn's disease, epilepsy, MS, PTSD, sickle cell anemia, and others. Ohio's includes chronic pain, PTSD, cancer, Crohn's disease, epilepsy, fibromyalgia, MS, Parkinson's, and others. Your provider will discuss your conditions on the call.

Records help but aren't strictly required for every patient. If you have a recent diagnosis or documentation of an existing condition, upload it during intake — it speeds the call along. If you don't have records readily available, your provider will still talk through your medical history on the call.

Most patients can shop within a day or two. In Pennsylvania, after portal registration and paying the state fee, you receive a temporary digital card that dispensaries accept. In West Virginia, you can shop once your certification is in the state system and your patient registration with the WV Office of Medical Cannabis is approved. In Ohio, your provider creates your state registry profile, the state emails you to activate it, and your digital card follows shortly after — Ohio charges no state registration fee.

Yes. Your medical marijuana card is valid at every licensed dispensary in the state where it was issued — there's no requirement to shop at Zen Leaf.

Get the certification for the state where you legally reside — your ID determines which state's program you qualify for, not which dispensary is closest. Don't assume a card from one state works at dispensaries in the other; if you have questions about your situation, call us before booking.
