If your card is not working at the dispensary, please follow these simple steps to allow immediate access.
Take a look at the issue/expiration dates on your patient ID. Are they current? If yes, go to the next step. If no, you are using an expired card or a card outside of the dates shown, and it will not work. Your card will need to be currently dated.
If your dates are current, you may have forgotten to make your annual transaction with the PADOH. Click the graphic below to take you to the login page.
Once you’re in your account with the state, please make sure to update your mailing address FIRST if you need to change it.
Take note of your card status box on your “PROFILE SETTINGS PAGE”. You can see your status as “active” or “inactive”. To the right of that you can see the due date of your transaction with the state. If that’s past due, the state will turn off your card.
If your payment is past due, navigate to the “MAKE PAYMENT” tab in your account. You need to complete this step each year regardless of whether you expect to have your payment with the state waived.
Once you make your transaction with the state, your payment screen will show that no payment is due. Now go back and check your card status on your profile settings page. That should now say “ACTIVE” and you will be able to enter the dispensary.
