Renewing Your Medical Cannabis Certification – Pennsylvania  

Pennsylvania requires you to renew your doctor’s certification every year to keep your medical cannabis card active. Follow these simple steps to complete your renewal:  

1. Check Your PA DOH Account  
   - Log in to your PA Medical Marijuana Registry  
   - Verify that your mailing address is correct. The state will not forward your card if the address is wrong.  

2. Pay the State’s Annual Fee  
   - The PA Department of Health (DOH) charges an annual transaction fee. This is separate from your doctor’s certification fee.  
   - You can pay this fee up to 30 days before your due date shown in your DOH account.  

3. Get Recertified by Our Doctor  
   - Our doctors will complete your annual certification.  
   - Once approved, the state will print and mail your new card.  

4. Keep Your Certification Active  
   - You must complete both the doctor’s certification and the state fee payment to keep your card valid.  
   - If you don’t pay within 90 days, the state will cancel your certification, and you’ll have to repeat the process.
